We aim to open towards the end of 2016. That is over a year away.
Sometimes a year feels really long, sometimes it feels impossibly short.
Our friend Neil made a painting on a small square canvas every day for a year during 2014.
A painting each and every day for a whole year, it was a big undertaking.
Neil hung the paintings on his studio wall, each day adding a new one to the collection.
At the end of the year I called him up, to congratulate him for finishing the project. I asked him how he felt, fully expecting him to feel proud of his achievement.
Overall, he was a little disappointed.
When viewed together a grid of 365 paintings didn’t seem that impressive to Neil.
They barely filled one wall of his studio.
Instead of being overwhelmed by the body of work he had created he was overwhelmed by how short a year is.
Time moves fast.
Every day counts.
